Founded on the belief that yoga is for every body and every soul, Asana & Soul was created to be a sanctuary in the city—a place where you can step away from the stresses of daily life, reconnect with yourself, and move with intention.

What started as a small group of passionate yogis has now grown into a thriving community, offering classes for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Whether you’re here to find stillness, build strength, or embrace new challenges, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

We help you learn to listen to your body and move with intention so you can find balance in every breath. All of our students are encouraged to practice awareness, compassion, and respect for their own bodies.

Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

  • Not at all! Yoga is about progress, not perfection. Our classes are designed to help you improve flexibility over time—no experience required!

  • Our Flow & Restore and Candlelight Yin Yoga classes are great for beginners. They focus on gentle movement and mindfulness, making them perfect for those new to yoga.

  • We recommend bringing a yoga mat, water bottle, and towel (especially for hot yoga). If you don’t have a mat, we have rentals available at the studio.

Booking & Membership

  • Yes, we recommend booking your class in advance to secure your spot. You can register online through our Class Schedule page.

  • We kindly ask that you cancel at least 12 hours before class to free up space for others. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.

  • Yes! We offer drop-in rates, class packs, and unlimited monthly memberships. Check out our Classes page for more details.

Studio Policies & Experience

  • Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely. For hot yoga, lightweight and moisture-wicking clothing is recommended.

  • Yes! We have free parking available near the studio. Additional street parking may be available as well.

  • Out of respect for the practice and other students, we ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes before class begins. Doors will be locked once class starts.

  • Yes! We offer private 1-on-1 sessions and corporate wellness classes for businesses. Reach out via our Contact page for more details.

Taking Classes at Asana + Soul

  • Expect a welcoming, non-judgmental atmosphere! Your instructor will guide you through a flow, offer modifications, and encourage you to move at your own pace. Arrive 10-15 minutes early to check in and get settled.

  • Absolutely! We recommend gentle or restorative classes like Flow & Restore or Candlelight Yin Yoga. Please consult with your doctor first and inform your instructor before class so they can provide modifications.

  • No worries! Yoga is about progress, not perfection. Our instructors offer modifications so you can adjust poses to your comfort level. It’s always okay to take a break when needed.

  • Most of our classes are designed for adults and teens 16+. For younger students, we offer kids & family yoga sessions—check our schedule for availability!
